Ryburn: P4 delight
Ryburn is a model railway that is based on Ripponden, and has been built by David Kirby and John Dilnot. The build took approximately four years, delayed somewhat by Covid.
The layout has had a number of outings, but is now being retired and at the time of writing (26 March 2023) and new owner is being actively sought.
I had the privilege of watching David and John arrive and set up their layout at the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Society's Modeller's Meeting at the Fielden Centre in Todmorden on 25 March 2023. It packs away in a purpose designed trailer, and each board has its own location within the trailer.
