Todmorden: A 2003 Interlude
Recently I acquired a set of images and memorabilia recording Todmorden station as it was in the Spring 2003.
This tour starts with the 'Welcome to Todmorden' sign as seen outside Todmorden Station on 10 April 2003. is noticeable how the Class 110 First Generation Calder Valley sets and the Metro-Cammell Rolls Royce-engined Class 111s have now been pushed out by the more recently constructed Class 156 and 158, whilst Classes 101 and 108 are still around and about. The Class 101 were the last of the First Generation units to be withdrawn from national network service, until Chiltern decided to bring two Class 121s back into service for the Aylesbury - Princes Risborough service.
